Let me give you an example, let’s say Jane needs diggs for a new Post on her blog to make it popular. Jane will post a job on the web2rule job board saying I need 30 diggs for www.janesdomain.com. You can do a digg for Jane’s story earning points for your bank.

Now you have helped Jane and maybe Bob, and Andrew etc. You have points in the bank, right. Ok let’s say you have a new Squidoo lens to promote and need 15 people to favorite it and comment on it. You just post your job on the job board and Jane and Andrew and whoever needs points in their bank (which is everybody!) come to help you. It’s very easy and focused on the end goal. The points work in two ways, really simple jobs like diggs that take about 20 seconds are worth 1 point to the person doing the digg. But this is only a suggested point price. When you post your job you can change the price you will pay in points, if you want. For example lets say you want a page one popular story on digg. This normally takes at least 100 diggs in pretty short order. But if you get it, that’s up to 150,000 semi focused visitors in one or two days! So if this was your strategy to launch a new blog or site, save up your points for a big bang.

The second way the points work is based on the time needed to do the job. For example, Jane (that popular girl) decides that she wants to be an expert on Yahoo Answers to help grow online reputation. She can post three types of Yahoo jobs, Ask this question, Answer this question or vote my Answer best. Each of these three job types take a few minutes to do so Jane has to pay 3 to 4 credits per job.
